The Nici Hotel New Forest

The Nici Hotel Hotel and Luxury Spa has recently opened after a major refurbishment which included a major audio installation throughout the hotel. The Nici New Forest is made up the Edwardian part which has been fully refurbished that includes Martha’s Restaurant, The Chart Room and Captain’s Room function areas and Elm’s which includes Elms’s restaurant, Gym and Spa areas.

Arcadia Solutions has provided the full audio installation including system design, speaker locations, planning and completion working alongside the hotels building and electrical contractors

Acoustics

Martha’s Restauarant is situated in the Edwardian part of the resort, The Nici place a high emphasis on atmosphere which includes a high level audio experience. To provide and audio experience which delivers excellent audio quality at low levels but also can perform at higher levels when required, we installed Void Acoustics full range speakers at key locations to provide an even sound dispersion.

Part of Martha’s Restaurant is the Bar area where we also installed Void Acoustics full range speakers. Within the bar and restaurant areas installed Audac network audio input plates to allow for external input such as DJ’s.

Audio Solutions

The Chart Room & Captain’s Room are two stunning spaces where we required an audio solution which could project high quality audio from high levels, sound clear at low volume while being able to perform for functions. For this we opted for Flcal OD8T install speakers which blended with the aesthetic. Also with the Chart Room we installed an Audac network audio input panel.

Acoustics

For public areas such as corridors (both high level and low level) and lavatories, we installed Audac ceiling speakers along with Audac external weather proof speakers for the outside terraces. All areas were divided into audio zones and wired to Audac networking zone mixers controllable via an app on tablets. `Sound has been optimized to provide the highest audio quality.
